"UNDERSTANDING YOUR YOUTHFUL AGE"

Let me begin this discourse, by saying that the most vital aspect  of ones life is at the youthful stage. That is to say, if it be destroyed the rest of ones life is also destroyed.Before I buttress further, let me succinctly define the concept “Youth”: According to Wikipedia, Youth is the time of life when one is young, but often means the time between childhood and adulthood(maturity). It is also defined as the appearance, freshness, vigor, spirit, etc. characteristics of one who is young.From the afore definition one can deduce the fact that the youthful stage is the stage of creativity, vigor, possibilities, adversaries challenges and obstacles.It is pertinent you understand your youthful stage and make productive and efficient use of it now that you are young. let me struck   mind with this, “the most creative people in the  world are the youths" . That is to posit that the youth are world changers in the same vein they are the anchors of all manners of social vices .lets look at the likes of "George Westinghouse who invented the Rotary Steam Engine at the age of 19 in 1865, Alexander Graham Bell invented telephone at the age of 18, Mark Zuckerberg developed a social media called face-book at the age of 16 and in Nigeria the likes of Saheed Adepoju who invented the INYE – 1&2, tablet computers designed for the African market, Seyi Oyesola,who  is credited with the co-invention of compactor , a solar- powered life- saving operating room which can be transported to remote areas of Africa and set up within a minute,etc". all the mention mention personalities utilized their creativity at their youth because they understood the "youthful age".You remember when you were a kid, your parents  use to carry you along to where ever they go, buys you clothes, sometimes you don’t like it but you just have to accept whatever they give to you. All those things happened because they saw you at  that stage as their own responsibility. You will also agree with me that their character towards you since  ever you became a youth has taken a different shape. That is not because they no longer love or care for you or the love has depreciated but because they expect you to, at that stage  assume personal responsibility for yourself.You must make haste while the sun shines if you don’t want your old age to be filled with regrets, make productive use of your youthful age because it is the most important of all aspect of your life. Now that your bones are still strong, now that you have a creative mindset and now that your world is full of possibilities why not  explore your inherent potentials that God has infused in you. Let  me tell you “God Created you on purpose for a purpose". The way you design your youthful age determines how successful or unsuccessful your old age will be. If you see it as a time of enjoyment and you are carried away by it, my dear your old age will be nothing to write home about. So many of our fathers made a mistake during their youthful age that greatly affected their old age. Most of them wish  they can move  the hands of time backward just for them to correct the mistakes they did during their youthful age.The youthful age comes once in a lifetime , so it is up to you on how you utilize it.Your youthful age is the time you face self image tussle  on choices to make,  a time when people will want  to influence and affect your decisions to suit their own whims and caprices but, the choice is yours to make  because you are the captain of your own ship.Do not waste your youthful age on  things that will not profit you anything other than misery at your old age.
